The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 24, 2026, issued a notification regarding the NPCI Guidelines on UPI Autopay Mandate Executions.
The following has been stated:-
•NPCI has issued additional guidelines requiring UPI AutoPay mandate execution requests to be initiated only during non-peak hours, with peak hours defined as 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 5:00 PM–9:30 PM.
•Stakeholders must review their existing processes, schedule mandate executions during permitted hours, and ensure compliance with NPCI's directions and instructions issued by their respective Payment Aggregators.
