The Government of West Bengal, Information Technology & Electronics Department, launched the RoW Anumati Portal to provide a single-window online system for granting Right of Way (RoW) permissions related to the establishment of mobile towers (overground telecom infrastructure) and laying of optical fibre cables (underground telecom infrastructure). The portal aims to provide time-bound, transparent, and paperless processing of applications, in line with the State's Ease of Doing Business initiatives.
The Anumati Portal enables online registration, application submission, tracking, evaluation, and issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for telecom infrastructure deployment. It also provides user manuals, application guidelines, notifications, and dashboards to facilitate applicants and ensure uniform processing of RoW applications across the State.
The portal has been introduced to strengthen digital connectivity by streamlining approvals for telecom infrastructure, reducing procedural delays, and promoting efficient implementation of mobile and broadband projects under the West Bengal Right of Way framework. Applicants can access the portal through the official Anumati Portal.
