Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 24, 2026, issued a circular regarding Reversal Trade Cancellation Mechanism (RTCM).

The following has been stated:-

•The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has released the list of securities to which the Reversal Trade Cancellation Mechanism (RTCM) will apply for August 2026.

•The list excludes NSE Clearing-approved securities, Nifty 500 constituents, and ETFs. 

•RTCM is designed to prevent reversal trades between two PANs when specified thresholds are breached. 

•Trading members must continue to comply with surveillance obligations under NSE Circular NSE/INVG/46662 dated December 16, 2020, as RTCM does not replace their regulatory responsibilities.
