The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on July 23, 2026, issued the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control), Ninth Amendment Order, 2026 further to amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, in clause 8, in sub-clause (4),-
(a) in second proviso, after the word “dealer”, the following words shall be inserted, namely:- “, Agricultural Cooperative Society or State Marketing Federations”;
(b) third proviso, shall be omitted.
