The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 24, 2026, issued a circular regarding mock trading on Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to Introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment – Update.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has revised the schedule for the July 25, 2026 Futures & Options mock trading session to test the implementation of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment, superseding its earlier circular dated July 23, 2026.
•The mock will comprise three trading sessions, with NEATPlus Version 7.8.9 to be used only for Session 1 and Version 7.8.8 for Sessions 2 and 3.
•Session 1 will also test stock futures price band alignment with CAS, while members are required to actively participate in all sessions and re-log in to the live environment after completion of the mock.
