The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 24, 2026, issued a circular regarding mock trading on Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to Introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment – Update.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has updated the July 25, 2026 Capital Market mock trading schedule for testing the Closing Auction Session (CAS), superseding its circular dated July 23, 2026.
•The mock session will introduce NEATPlus Version 7.8.9 for Trading Session 1 to test CAS-related trading modalities, while NEATPlus Version 7.8.8 will be used for Sessions 2 and 3.
•The exercise includes testing of pre-open, normal market, T+0, auction, block deal, and CAS sessions to ensure readiness for the upcoming implementation of the revised trading framework.
