The Tea Board India on July 23, 2026, issued orders relating to singing or playing of the National Song and the National Anthem of India.
The following has been stated: -
•Authorities have reiterated compliance with the prescribed protocol for singing or playing the National Song and National Anthem, including the approved sequence, occasions, and official script and pronunciation.
•Board officials must strictly follow the Ministry of Home Affairs' guidelines and submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) with event photographs after the programme for onward submission to the Ministry.
