Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry Of External Affairs (MEA) on July 22, 2026, issued the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) Fourth Amendment Order, 2026 to further amend the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) Order, 2007.

The Government has amended the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) Order, 2007 by updating the Schedule. New individuals linked to ISIL (Da’esh) have been added to Annexure 1, including key operatives involved in financing, operations, and terrorist activities.

Further, entries in Annexure 2 relating to Taliban-associated individuals have been substituted/updated, revising details such as identity, roles, and background information of listed persons.

These changes align India’s framework with UN Security Council sanctions lists, strengthening measures against terrorism financing and associated activities.

It shall come into force on July 22, 2026.
