The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, on July 28, 2026, issued a corrigendum to Notification No. 28/2026-Customs dated July 10, 2026, to rectify an error in the English version of the notification published in the Official Gazette. 674(E)]
The corrigendum clarifies that the Gazette reference "G.S.R. 615(E)" appearing in the notification should be read as "G.S.R. 613(E)". The correction is limited to the Gazette notification number and does not alter the substantive provisions of the original Customs notification.
Stakeholders should refer to the corrected Gazette citation, G.S.R. 613(E), while citing or implementing Notification No. 28/2026-Customs.
