The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on August 03, 2026, extended the deadline for submission of stakeholder suggestions on the proposed Integrated Platform for Insolvency Ecosystem (iPIE) by one week, from August 03, 2026 to August 10, 2026. The iPIE is envisioned as a unified digital platform that will integrate stakeholders, processes, and technology systems operating under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC) to provide a seamless, secure, and transparent digital insolvency ecosystem.
The proposed platform will connect key stakeholders including NCLT, NCLAT, MCA, IBBI, NeSL, Insolvency Professionals (IPs), Insolvency Professional Agencies (IPAs), Registered Valuers (RVs), and Registered Valuer Organisations (RVOs). It aims to eliminate fragmented IT systems by enabling end-to-end digital workflows, API-based data exchange, standardized processes, secure document management, real-time monitoring, analytics, and enhanced transparency. The platform will also provide digital tools such as virtual data rooms, electronic voting, auction platforms, communication tools, and automated notifications to improve the efficiency of insolvency proceedings.
The iPIE will comprise modules covering User Registration and Management, Process Commencement, Claims Management, Stakeholder Management, and Records Management. These modules will facilitate activities such as digital case initiation, public announcements, claim submission and verification, Committee of Creditors (CoC) constitution, stakeholder communication, meeting management, document repository, asset management, valuation reports, and integration with external systems like MCA and NeSL. MCA has invited suggestions from professionals, industry, institutions, and academia to help shape the design and functionality of the platform before its implementation.
