DGFT invited TRQ Applications under India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) for Financial Year (FY) 2026-27

Industry Specific ComplianceThe Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on August 03, 2026, in exercise of powers conferred under paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, and in continuation of Public Notice No. 20/2026-27 dated July 13, 2026, has invited applications for Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) allocation under the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) for FY 2026-27. Applications are to be submitted during the window from August 4, 2026 to August 19, 2026.

The TRQ allocation covers a specified list of products with prescribed quantity ceilings for the year. These include Dates (Fresh and Other, HS Codes 8041010/8041090) with a combined TRQ quantity of 2,000 MT; Marble and Travertine Blocks (HS Code 25151210) capped at 1,00,000 MT; and Marble and Travertine Slabs (HS Code 25151220) capped at 15,00,000 Sq. Mtr. Also covered is Ethylene Glycol (Ethanediol, HS Code 29053100) with a quota of 1,50,000 MT, and Linear Alkylbenzenes (HS Code 38170011) with a quota of 1,049 MT.

Further items include polyethylene-related products under HS Code 3901, comprising LLDPE (where ethylene monomer contributes 95% or more by weight of total polymer content), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), "Other" polyethylene (HS Code 39011090), and Polyethylene having a specific gravity of 0.94 or more (HS Code 39012000), collectively allocated a TRQ quantity of 75,000 MT. Interested exporters/importers are required to apply within the stipulated window for allocation under the India-Oman CEPA TRQ mechanism for FY 2026-27.
