Industry Specific ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on August 04, 2026, issued the updated International Financial Services Centres Authority (Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Know Your Customer) Guidelines, 2022.

The following has been updated:

• The updated guidelines include revisions relating to capital relief for factoring transactions, credit rating agencies, internet banking services of International Banking Units (IBUs), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, Special Non-Resident Rupee (SNRR) account operations, and fund management entities, including governance, fiduciary responsibilities, certification requirements, key managerial personnel and outsourcing arrangements. 

• The updated Master Guidelines also incorporate recent cybersecurity advisories and other operational instructions, providing regulated entities with a single, comprehensive reference document reflecting all regulatory changes.
