Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) on August 4, 2026, has notified that onboarding of Reporting Entities (REs) to CKYCRR 2.0 will commence from August 10, 2026, along with a mandatory mock run scheduled from August 10 to August 14, 2026, prior to final go-live. REs transitioning from CKYCRR 1.0 are required to complete onboarding using the prescribed user manual, wherein existing data will be auto-populated and only newly introduced fields must be updated and submitted.

During the mock run period, REs are required to perform end-to-end KYC transactions such as search, create, download, and update through multiple channels including web application, API integration, bulk upload, and SFTP. Additionally, REs may test billing management functions (fund addition, refunds, GSTIN updates, etc.) and KYC lifecycle operations such as activation, suspension, and reactivation of records. All mock run data will be treated as test data and will be purged before actual go-live.

CERSAI has also scheduled virtual training sessions on August 7, 2026, covering onboarding, KYC transaction processes, system functionalities, and query resolution. Further, updated user manuals, API documents, SOPs, and supporting materials will be made available on the CKYC website to assist REs in preparation and integration.

All REs are advised to complete onboarding and mock run activities within the stipulated timeline and regularly monitor communications and updates on the CKYC portal to ensure seamless migration from CKYCRR 1.0 to CKYCRR 2.0.
