Labour ComplianceThe Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) (BOPTER), on August 4, 2026, issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) clarifying the document requirements for the annual profile update by training establishments on the NATS 2.0 portal. The FAQs specify the supporting documents that establishments must upload while completing the yearly profile update.

Training establishments may upload any one of the following documents as supporting evidence: (i) a self-attested EPFO return statement showing the employee/member count downloaded from the EPFO website; (ii) a salary bill or salary payment order issued to banks, duly certified by the bank and attested by the establishment's contact person; or (iii) for Central/State Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), a declaration on the organization's official letterhead indicating the revised employee count, signed by the Head of the Organization.

The uploaded document must be submitted in the designated "Upload Supportive Documents" section of the NATS 2.0 portal, and where applicable, the document should be attested by the contact person whose details are registered in the establishment's NATS 2.0 profile.
