The U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu on August 11, 2026, issued the Draft Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Private Security Agencies (Amendment) Rules, 2026, to amend the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Private Security Agencies Rules, 2021.
The following has been stated: -
•In sub-rule (11) of Rule 3, (i) the following shall be substituted, namely:-
The Controlling Authority shall cause a physical copy of the licence to be delivered by post within fifteen days of issue to the principal office of the private security agency in the State concerned as mentioned in the application for grant of licence.
Comments/Suggestions/Objections from all stakeholders can be given within 30 days.
