The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 14, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Implementation of 1600 series number by Investor Services Centre for outbound calls to Investors.
The following has been stated namely: -
• From August 15, 2026, NSE Investor Service Centres and the Defaulter Department will make outbound calls only from 1600322410.
• The number 1600322410 is outbound-only. Participants cannot call or send messages to it.
• Continue using the NSE toll-free number 1800 266 0050 for contacting Exchange departments.
• Do not disclose PAN, Aadhaar, bank/card details, login credentials, or OTPs during calls.
• The dedicated number is intended to help investors identify genuine NSE calls and avoid impersonation/fraud, promoting safer investor communication.
