The Finance Department, Rajasthan on August 13, 2026, issued the notification regarding the amendment in Schedule-I of Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Schedule-I appended to the said Act the following has been amended namely: -
o In column number 3 against serial number 6, for the existing expression "10", the expression "7.5" shall be substituted;
o In column number 3 against serial number 7, for the existing expression "10", the expression "7.5" shall be substituted;
o The existing serial number 9 and entries thereto shall be substituted by the following, namely: -
" 9. Foreign Liquor, Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Beer -
(a) when sold to the dealers having retail off licenses issued by the Excise Department, Government of Rajasthan – 30%
(b) when sold to the dealers not covered in clause (a) above – 20%”
