Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 18, 2026, issued circular on Designating a Bank Account for collection of Exchange dues.

Every Broker Dealer is required to designate at least one bank account for the collection and/or transfer of all dues payable to the Exchange. The Broker Dealer must submit the prescribed Annexure 1 authorisation, duly acknowledged by the designated bank, authorising the bank to act on the Exchange’s instructions for debiting the account. This acknowledgement must be submitted to the Exchange as confirmation of the designated account.

The Broker Dealer must maintain sufficient funds in the designated account on the due date to ensure timely payment of Exchange dues. Any delay or shortfall may attract interest at the applicable rate. The designated account can be changed by informing the Exchange and submitting a fresh authorisation, and the authorisation must remain valid and effective at all times. This supersedes Circular NSEIFSC/REG/2249 dated August 8, 2025.
