The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on August 21, 2026, informed all members that a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives segment will be conducted from the Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) site on August 22, 2026. The mock session will be followed by a re-login session from the Primary site to avoid login-related issues on August 24, 2026.
The mock trading session will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with trade modification permitted until 5:30 PM. The Primary site re-login session will be held from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. No changes are required in the NEAT Adapter settings, and members should retain the live-session settings as of August 21, 2026. During the mock session, operations will shift from the Primary site to the DR site through a non-graceful shutdown, requiring members to take appropriate action to bring their systems into a consistent state.
All outstanding orders will be purged before trading begins from the BCP site, and members using NNF software must clear outstanding Session-1 orders before BCP trading. For Multicast TBT, the sequence number will restart from ‘1’ upon commencement of trading from the BCP site. Members are also advised that latencies for Colo Participants may differ on the DR/BCP day compared with a normal trading day. Detailed operational, participation and DR switchover instructions are provided in the three annexures.
