The Lakshadweep Pollution Control Committee on August 20, 2026, has onboarded the Unified Consent & Authorisation Monitoring System (UCAMS) developed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), effective August 21, 2026, to digitise and streamline environmental regulatory services.
All applications for Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), Renewal of Consent, and Authorisation under applicable environmental laws and rules must now be submitted online through the UCAMS portal. Manual/offline applications have been discontinued from August 21, 2026. Industries and establishments requiring such approvals must register on UCAMS and submit the required documents and prescribed fees online.
