The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on August 27, 2026, has scheduled mock trading sessions for the Equity Derivatives segment on August 29, 2026, to test the modifications to the Pre-open Call Auction Session and trading functionalities for live trading from August 31, 2026.
The following has been stated:
Two mock sessions will be conducted. Session 1 will test the modified Pre-open Call Auction Session from 09:00 am to 12:10 pm, while Session 2 will test regular trading functionalities from 01:00 pm to 02:10 pm. Stock futures price bands will also be updated during both sessions for alignment with the CAS in the Equity Segment.
BOLT Pro TWS version 13.50 will be used for testing in Session 1, while version 13.35 will be used in Session 2 and is mandatory for live trading from August 31, 2026. The new NFCAST market data format and MDI/EMDI API version 1.4.5 will also be tested as specified.
Trades during the mock sessions will be for testing purposes only and will not attract margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations or create any rights or liabilities. Members are requested to participate actively and provide feedback by 12:00 pm.
