The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on August 27, 2026, has scheduled a mock trading session in the Futures & Options segment on August 29, 2026, to test the modified pre-open call auction framework.
The following has been stated:
Three trading sessions will be conducted. Session 1 from the DR Site will test the modified pre-open call auction framework using NEATPlus version 7.9.0. Members must thereafter reinstall and use NEATPlus version 7.8.8 or 7.8.9 for Sessions 2 and 3, which will follow the existing trading modalities.
Session 1 will run from 09:00 am to 11:00 am, Session 2 from 01:00 pm to 03:55 pm, and Session 3 from 04:30 pm to 05:30 pm, with stock futures price-band updates for alignment with the CAS in the Equity Cash Market during Sessions 1 and 3. Live re-login will be available from 06:30 pm to 07:00 pm.
New broadcast parameters will be available in all three sessions, while the existing broadcast parameters will be discontinued from September 5, 2026. Members using direct NNF connectivity are advised to migrate to the new market data broadcast parameters on priority.
