The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on August 27, 2026, issued a notification regarding Mock Trading on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for the Equity segment.
The following has been stated: -
•The Exchange will conduct two mock trading sessions on Saturday, August 29, 2026, to test modifications in the Pre-open Call Auction Session and regular trading functionalities.
Session 1 will test the Pre-open changes, while Session 2 will test functionalities without these changes for live trading from August 31, 2026.
•BOLT Pro TWS 13.50 will be used for Session 1, while BOLT Pro TWS 13.35 will be used for Session 2 and is mandatory for live trading from August 31, 2026.
•Trades from Session 1 will be carried forward to Session 2, and CAS reference prices will be based on specified VWAP periods.
•Trading members using third-party applications are advised to use the mock sessions to test their systems for the Pre-open Call Auction modifications.
