The Finance (Excise) Department, Govt. of Rajasthan on August 24, 2026, notified regarding the Dry Day for Urban Local Body Elections, 2026.
The Government has declared dry days in the election areas of 309 urban local bodies in connection with the August–September 2026 elections. The prohibition will remain in force from 6:00 PM on September 7 to 6:00 PM on September 9, 2026 for the first phase and from 6:00 PM on September 9 to 6:00 PM on September 11, 2026 for the second phase. September 14, 2026, the date of vote counting, has also been declared a dry day.
