The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on August 27, 2026, under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, has fixed the retail prices, exclusive of GST, for two formulations: Donepezil Hydrochloride 5 mg + Memantine Hydrochloride 10 mg tablets manufactured by Cipla Limited at ₹12.31 per tablet, and Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg + Domperidone 30 mg capsules manufactured/marketed by Ved Lifesavers (P) Ltd./German Remedies Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. at ₹7.47 per capsule.
The concerned manufacturers/marketers must not sell these formulations above the notified retail prices and may add GST only where legally applicable. They are required to issue the prescribed Form-V price list through IPDMS to NPPA and provide copies to the State Drug Controller and dealers. Retailers and dealers must prominently display the price list at their premises. Any overcharging will require recovery of the excess amount along with applicable interest under the DPCO, 2013 and Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
