The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on August 27, 2026, pursuant to the review order issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals under paragraph 31 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, has revised/fixed the retail price of a combination suspension containing Paracetamol, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Citrate and Menthol. The notified retail price is ₹0.70 per ml, exclusive of GST, for the formulation manufactured by M/s Windlas Biotech Limited and marketed by M/s Biological E. Limited.
The manufacturer may add GST only where actually paid or payable and must calculate pack prices in accordance with the DPCO, 2013. A Form-V price list must be submitted to NPPA through IPDMS and copies provided to the State Drug Controller and dealers, while retailers/dealers must prominently display the price list. Non-compliance with the notified price will attract recovery of the overcharged amount with applicable interest. The earlier price order specified in the notification is superseded to the extent of this formulation.
