MCXCCL Fixes Due Date Rate for ELECDMBL Futures Contract

Industry Specific ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL), on August 31, 2026, has notified the Due Date Rate (DDR) for the futures contract that expired on August 28, 2026.

The following has been stated:

The Due Date Rate for the expired ELECDMBL futures contract has been fixed at ₹4,903.00 per MWh, with a base quantity of 1 MWh, effective August 31, 2026.

Further, as per MCXCCL Circular No. MCXCCL/C&S/134/2025 dated July 8, 2025, the differential obligation arising from the above DDR will form part of the August 31, 2026 obligation and will be settled on September 1, 2026.

Details of the differential obligation will be made available to members through the back-office file named MCXCCL_FS_MemberID_DDMMYYYY.xlsx in the SFTP date folder for 31-08-2026.

Members and market participants are requested to take note of the same.
