The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on August 27, 2026, fixed the retail prices, exclusive of GST, for specified drug formulations under paragraphs 5, 11 and 15 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. The order covers formulations including Drotaverine Hydrochloride and Mefenamic Acid, Empagliflozin-Linagliptin-Metformin, Escitalopram Oxalate and Clonazepam, Glimepiride, Telmisartan combinations, and Thiocolchicoside-Aceclofenac-Paracetamol, with prices prescribed according to their specified strengths, manufacturers and marketing companies.
The prescribed retail prices include ₹14.59 per tablet for Drotaverine Hydrochloride 80 mg + Mefenamic Acid 250 mg, ₹12.27 and ₹14.33 for the 10 mg and 25 mg Empagliflozin combinations respectively, ₹15.69 for Escitalopram Oxalate 10 mg + Clonazepam 0.5 mg, and ₹12.48 and ₹13.47 for Glimepiride 3 mg and 4 mg respectively. Telmisartan 40 mg combinations with Amlodipine 5 mg and Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg have been fixed at ₹13.08 and ₹13.27 per tablet, respectively.
The retail prices specified in the order are applicable exclusive of Goods and Services Tax, if any, and correspond to the formulation, strength, unit, manufacturer and marketing company specified in the table.
