The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through a notification dated August 11, 2026, has notified the establishment of a Branch of the Western India Regional Council at Jalna city, Maharashtra, with effect from July 29, 2026.
The following has been stated:
The newly established Branch shall be known as the Jalna Branch of the Western India Regional Council, with its Headquarters located at Jalna city, Maharashtra.
The jurisdiction of the Branch shall include Jalna city and the following cities/towns falling within a distance of 50 kilometres from the city limits of Jalna: Ambad, Bhokhardan, Badnapur, Ghansawangi, Partur, Mantha and Jafrabad.
The Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and direction of the Council through the Western India Regional Council, as prescribed under Regulation 159 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
