Industry Specific ComplianceThe Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan, on August 17, 2026, amended the Rajasthan Integrated Clean Energy Policy, 2024, originally notified on December 4, 2024 and subsequently amended on July 25, 2025, with immediate effect. The amendment introduces provisions for transfer of the entire registered capacity of an RE/Solar Park and revises land-allotment provisions for renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

The revised provisions permit allotment of land for RE Projects/RE Parks/Green Hydrogen Projects/Green Hydrogen Parks, with or without storage, having a minimum capacity of 1,000 MW, including projects without existing CTU/STU connectivity. RREC will recommend land allotment upon deposit of Land Security of ₹1 lakh/MW. The security is refundable proportionately upon commissioning, while violation of the Policy or applicable land-revenue rules may result in withdrawal of allotment and forfeiture of the security. Maximum land limits have also been revised, including 2.0 Ha/MW for most solar and wind projects and up to 2.5 Ha/MW for wind-solar hybrid projects, with 10% of allotted land reserved for tree plantation.

The amendment further provides that applicable stamp duty on lease/sub-lease deeds shall be borne by the Developer/Power Producer; new RE projects integrated with BESS may receive 50% to 100% exemption from registration charges depending on storage capacity; specified registration charges are introduced for PSP and BESS projects; and power evacuation facilities approved by DISCOMs/RVPN must be utilised within two years, failing which the approval may be allocated to other developers on priority basis.
