Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on September 01, 2026, notified regarding the Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin on Turmeric.

NCDEX has re-triggered Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Turmeric based on the High-Low price variation criterion. The E-ASM has been triggered with a 10-day price movement of 15%, with the trigger date being September 1, 2026, and will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched Turmeric contracts up to September 23, 2026. No E-ASM has been triggered for Barley, Castor Seed, Coriander, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, or Jeera (including Jeera Mini). All other applicable margins will continue to be levied as usual.
