Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 01, 2026, issued an amendment to the older notification no. 11/2026-Central Excise, dated March 26, 2026, stating the Exemption of Additional Excise Duty on Petrol and Partial Duty on High Speed Diesel.

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 2, in column (4), for the entry, the entry

“Rs. 1 per litre” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on September 01, 2026.
