Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 03, 2026, notified Investment Advisers to Utilise DoT Digital Intelligence Platform for MNRL, Reactivation List and Fraud Risk Management.

The Exchange has informed SEBI-registered Investment Advisers (IAs) about enhancements to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP). A new Stakeholder Feedback facility has been introduced under SancharSaathi Utilities, enabling IAs and other stakeholders to provide feedback, suggestions and operational requirements relating to DIP dashboards, data views and functionalities.

Investment Advisers are advised to regularly use the Mobile Number Revocation List (MNRL) and Reactivation List available on DIP. Both datasets are updated daily and must be checked against each other before taking action. Action should be limited to effective MNRL entries relating to the preceding 90 days, followed by appropriate Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations. Any action based on reactivated numbers or numbers beyond the 90-day period should be reviewed and revoked where appropriate.

IAs must also complete onboarding on the DIP by submitting organisational and nodal officer details to DoT. After successful onboarding, they may opt for API integration, with APIs currently available for MNRL, Financial Fraud Risk Indicator (FRI) and Digital Intelligence Sharing (DIS) services. The Exchange has encouraged IAs to utilise these facilities to strengthen fraud prevention, risk management and cyber-fraud mitigation.
