The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 03, 2026, notified the Mock Trading on Saturday, September 05, for the Equity Derivatives segment.
The Exchange has scheduled a mock trading session for the Equity Derivatives segment on Saturday, September 05, 2026, primarily to test the modifications in the Pre-open Call Auction Session, which will become applicable to live trading from September 07, 2026. The session will include Log-in from 08:15 AM–09:00 AM, followed by the revised pre-open session from 09:00 AM–09:15 AM and continuous trading from 09:15 AM–03:40 PM.
The revised pre-open process includes separate periods for market and limit orders, order matching/confirmation, and a buffer period, with random stoppage of order entry during the final two minutes. Future contract price bands will also be updated between 03:15 PM and 03:20 PM to align with the CAS mechanism. BOLT Pro TWS Version 13.50 will be used for the mock session and live trading from September 07, 2026, while the new NFCAST market-data format (Version 6.2) and MDI/EMDI API Version 1.4.5 will continue to be available. Members using third-party or in-house trading systems are advised to use the mock session to test these changes. Trades executed during the mock session are for testing/familiarisation only and will not attract margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations or create any rights or liabilities.
