The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on September 03, 2026, notified regarding the Extension of timeline for one-time conversion of Advance Authorisation under SION E-52 to TRQ for import of Raw Sugar.
DGFT has extended the application window for one-time conversion of eligible Advance Authorisations under SION E-52 to the TRQ Scheme. Eligible Advance Authorisation holders can now submit their applications from September 3, 2026 to September 7, 2026 (both days inclusive), with September 7, 2026 as the final date for submission.
All other terms and conditions prescribed under Public Notice No. 27/2026-2027 dated August 20, 2026, as amended by the Corrigendum dated August 24, 2026, will continue to apply. The extension follows the earlier extension of the TRQ application window notified through Public Notice No. 28/2026-2027 dated September 1, 2026.
Effect: Eligible holders under SION E-52 have an extended opportunity until September 7, 2026 to convert their Advance Authorisations to TRQ on a one-time basis.
