The Government of Punjab, on August 31, 2026, notified an exemption for eligible units covered under the Punjab Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2026, pursuant to the Policy notified on March 8, 2026.
All eligible units holding an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Competent Authority under the Punjab Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2026 shall be entitled to 100% exemption from Change of Land Use (CLU) charges under the Punjab Regional Town Planning and Development Act, 1995. The exemption is subject to compliance with other applicable norms, including the siting guidelines prescribed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Punjab.
The notification is relevant to eligible logistics and warehousing units seeking CLU approval/conversion in Punjab and provides a significant reduction in the applicable development-related charges.
