The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on September 04, 2026, announced a mock trading session in the Capital Market segment on Saturday, September 05, 2026, in preparation for the go-live of the modified pre-open call auction framework and revised norms for ETFs. The Exchange will introduce NEAT+ version 7.9.0, which members are advised to use from September 05, 2026, particularly for CAS securities.
The mock will comprise three trading sessions. Session 1 will run from the Primary Site with pre-open from 08:45–09:45 and normal market from 09:50–11:30, followed by contingency from 10:30–11:30. Session 2 will run from the DR Site from 12:15–14:05, while Session 3 will run from the Primary Site from 15:15–17:30. Live re-login will be available from 19:30–20:00. Trades from Session 1 will carry forward to Session 2, but trades from Sessions 1 and 2 will not be available in Session 3.
Members are required to download and load the prescribed master files before participating in the mock and live trading on September 07, 2026. NEAT+ 7.9.0 will be available from September 04, 2026 at 18:00, while the existing NEAT+ 7.8.9 is scheduled for discontinuation on October 10, 2026. Members are also required to follow the updated NEATPlus installation procedure and the mock-trading, DR switchover and other guidelines specified in the annexures.
