The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on September 04, 2026, announced a mock trading session in the Equity Derivatives (F&O) segment on Saturday, September 05, 2026, ahead of the go-live of the modified pre-open call auction framework. The revised framework will be effective in LIVE trading from September 07, 2026, and members are advised to use the new NEAT+ version 7.9.0 from September 05, 2026.
The mock will comprise three sessions. Session 1 from the Primary Site will have pre-open from 08:45–09:45 and normal market from 09:50–11:30, with contingency from 10:30–11:30. Session 2 from the DR Site will run from 12:15–13:55, while Session 3 from the Primary Site will run from 15:30–17:20. Live re-login will be available from 19:30–20:00. Trades from Sessions 1 and 2 will not be available in Session 3, although Session 1 trades will be available in Session 2.
Members must download and load the latest master files before the mock and live trading. NEAT+ 7.9.0 will be available from September 04, 2026 at 18:00, while NEAT+ 7.8.9 will be discontinued on October 10, 2026. Members using direct NNF connectivity must also migrate to the new market data broadcast parameters for the F&O segment from September 05, 2026. The Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash Segment will also be available for testing during the mock and become effective in LIVE from September 07, 2026.
