Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Dental Commission (NDC) on September 02, 2026, issued circular on uploading the details of students admitted to MDS / PG Diploma Course(s) at Dental Colleges for the academic session 2026-27, on NDC Website.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the NEET-MDS 2026 counselling and allotment schedule for MDS seats under the 50% All India Quota, 100% Deemed/Central Universities and State Quota. The academic session for MDS courses will commence on September 17, 2026, while the last date for admission is October 24, 2026.

All dental colleges must upload details of students admitted to MDS/PG Diploma courses for the 2026–27 academic session on the NDC website by 12:00 midnight on October 24, 2026. Colleges are advised to upload admission details immediately after each counselling round to avoid last-minute technical issues. Only genuine and bonafide admissions should be uploaded, and colleges may face action under the NDC Act, 2023 for furnishing incorrect or false information.

Only student details uploaded on the NDC portal will be forwarded to the State Dental Councils/Tribunals for addition of MDS/PG Diploma qualifications. No extension of the deadline will be granted on grounds such as technical issues or other reasons. A detailed User Manual for the UG/PG Admission Portal has also been provided to assist dental institutions with the admission-upload process.
