The Department of Health, Haryana, on September 03, 2026, issued a Procedure for admission to the Post Diploma DNB course in various Civil Hospitals running under the Health Department and Government Medical Colleges in the state of Haryana for the Academic Session 2026-27.
The following has been stated: -
•For Post Diploma DNB courses in Haryana for 2026–27, 50% seats will be filled through All-India Merit based on DNB-PDCET 2026, while the remaining 50% State Quota seats will be reserved for Haryana Government in-service doctors; in Government Medical Colleges, 20% seats will be reserved for in-service candidates.
•The State Quota admission will follow the Haryana State Reservation Policy and centralized counselling conducted through Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, based on DNB-PDCET 2026 merit.
•Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens, MBBS and concerned specialty Diploma holders, serving regularly in the Haryana Government, and registered with the Haryana Medical Council/any State Medical Council/NMC.
•Candidates must complete the prescribed service tenure, obtain the required NOC from the competent authority, and meet the minimum eligibility/qualifying criteria prescribed by NBE for DNB-PDCET 2026.
•Candidates must register online, submit their preferred course/institution choices, and attend physical document verification with original certificates; provisional allotment becomes final only after verification, and leaving the course after the specified date may result in 3-year debarment from State Quota DNB admission.
