The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), on September 09, 2026, has introduced changes to the existing Online Freeze Master Report (DPE6) to provide additional details on freeze records and facilitate better identification and reconciliation of freeze instructions.
The following has been stated:
CDSL has revised the DPE6 report format by introducing/modifying the following fields:
Other Regulatory Authority
Details of Authority
Type of Order
Reason for Delay
The revised DPE6 format has already been implemented and made available to Depository Participants (DPs). DPs are advised to take note of the changes and make necessary modifications to their back-office systems, wherever applicable, to accommodate the revised report format.
