The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on September 09, 2026, issued notification to amend notification no. S.O. 1433(E) dated May 29, 2015, related to the pattern of investment for provident fund and related debt accumulations.
The following amendments have been stated:
In the said notification, in the Table, under column “Category/Sub-Category”, under the heading “Debt Instruments and Related Investments”, against Category No. (ii), for clause (c), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
“(c) Rupee Bonds having an outstanding maturity of at least three years issued by institution of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank and New Development Bank.”
