The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on September 15, 2026, has enhanced the online facility for submission of the Net Worth Certificate and Audited Financial Statements (AFS) by Depository Participants (DPs), along with a revised process for submission of clarifications during verification.
The following has been stated:
All DPs for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 are required to submit the Net Worth Certificate along with Audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Report on or before October 31, 2026.
The Auditweb facility has been enhanced with additional features. Any clarification sought by CDSL during verification regarding the computation of net worth, along with clarifications or supporting documents submitted by DPs, will be routed through the Auditweb application.
The revised processes specified in Annexures A and B are required to be followed. The existing requirements under CDSL Communiqué No. 616 dated September 12, 2025, including the process for uploading AFS, will continue to remain applicable and unchanged.
DPs must ensure that complete and correct copies of the Net Worth Certificate and AFS are uploaded on the Auditweb portal within the prescribed timeline. Incorrect or incomplete documents will be treated as non-submission, and applicable penalties will be levied in accordance with Operating Instructions Annexure 11.1.
