The National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) on September 17, 2026, has extended the release date of the Withdrawal of e-BG Request feature from July 31, 2026 to October 31, 2026, following feedback that some participating banks require additional time to complete system development and testing for processing withdrawal requests through the Notification API.
Banks are required to utilise the extended timeline to complete necessary system enhancements, testing and operational readiness and ensure their systems can receive and process withdrawal requests in accordance with the prescribed API specifications and workflows by October 31, 2026. The API specifications and requirements communicated under Communiqué #236 remain unchanged. Banks completing implementation should notify their readiness status to their respective NeSL Relationship Manager.
