Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 18, 2026, notified the Samuhik Prativedan Manch - a technology-based sharing mechanism for common submissions extended to Members of Clearing Corporations.

The following has been stated:

• SEBI, in consultation with Clearing Corporations, has extended the Samuhik Prativedan Manch compliance-report sharing mechanism to Self Clearing Members (SCMs) and Clearing Members (CMs) that are also stock brokers of NSE. From September 30, 2026, in the first phase, NSE stock brokers who are also SCMs/CMs will not be required to submit the specified 14 compliance reports/submissions separately to each Clearing Corporation. Members will submit the required reports, requests and supporting data/documents to NSE, which will share them with the relevant Clearing Corporations; submission to NSE alone will be treated as compliance with the applicable reporting requirement.

• The mechanism is proposed to be expanded in a second phase from December 31, 2026, covering the remaining SCM/CM reports and examining its applicability to Professional Clearing Members (PCMs) having memberships with multiple Clearing Corporations. Until then, PCMs will continue separate submissions to each Clearing Corporation. Clearing Corporations will continue to independently process, monitor and supervise the submissions. SCMs/CMs that are not registered with NSE will also continue submitting reports separately to their respective Clearing Corporations.
