The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 21, 2026, notified the streamlining of EOD information dissemination related to Bhavcopy – update.
The following has been stated:
• NSE, in continuation of its earlier circulars, has announced additional dissemination of Bhavcopy reports in .DAT format through Extranet, effective October 12, 2026. The new reports include CM Bhavcopy (FCM_INTRM_BCDDMMYYYY.DAT) and Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Bhavcopy (EG_BCDDMMYYYY.DAT), in addition to the DAT-format reports already being disseminated for F&O, CD and COM segments.
• The discontinuation of legacy Bhavcopy reports in .MS and .MD formats on Extranet, as well as Bhavcopy dissemination through NNF API broadcasts, has been extended from October 12, 2026 to November 16, 2026. The discontinuation will cover CM, FO, CD, COM and EG segments, including the relevant interim/final/spread/index Bhavcopy broadcasts. The .MS, .MD, .YMS and .YMD files generated through NNF broadcasts and stored in respective NEAT application directories will also cease from November 16, 2026.
• The notification shall apply to Capital Market (Equities) Trade; Emerge; Commodity Derivatives; Currency Derivatives; Electronic Gold Receipt; Member Service Department; Futures & Options.
