The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 25, 2026, notified the conversion factors for converting from USD to GBP, EURO and YEN.
The Exchange has revised the conversion factors for monitoring the aggregate position limit of USD 100 million across Currency Derivatives contracts in GBP-INR, EUR-INR and JPY-INR, effective October 29, 2026. The revised factors are USD to EUR: 0.87, USD to GBP: 0.74, and USD to JPY: 159.53. The conversion factors specified in Exchange Notice No. 20260625-24 will remain applicable until October 28, 2026.
Entities shall ensure that their aggregate positions across exchanges remain within the prescribed USD 100 million equivalent limit. Where positions exceed this limit, clients are required to provide disclosure of their underlying exposure to the Trading Member, while Trading Members shall ensure compliance with the position limits prescribed under Exchange Notice No. 20150430-20.
