The U. T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on September 25, 2026, notified the further Extension of Permission for Use of Alternative Fuels due to Continued Interruption in Supply of Natural Gas.
The Pollution Control Committee has further extended the temporary permission granted to industrial units for use of alternative fuels due to the continued interruption/shortage in natural gas supply. The permission, originally granted on March 13, 2026 and subsequently extended on May 21 and June 8, 2026, is further extended till October 10, 2026.
All existing terms and conditions of the earlier orders will continue unchanged during the extended period. The permission remains temporary and may be reviewed, withdrawn, modified or further extended depending on improvement in natural gas supply, directions of CPCB/other competent authorities and prevailing circumstances.
