The Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, on September 24, 2026, issued the amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Land Pooling Scheme (Formulation and Implementation) Rules, 2025.
The following has been amended, namely:
• The amendment inserts clause (g) in Rule 16(2) and a corresponding clause in Form-V under Rule 19(6) to provide a minimum annual annuity to farmers who have contributed less than 1 acre of Dry or Jareebu land under the Land Pooling Scheme. Eligible landowners will receive ₹40,000 per year for Dry land and ₹60,000 per year for Jareebu land for 10 years. For the seven villages notified under G.O.Ms.No.252, MA&UD (CRDA) Department, dated December 2, 2025, ownership and land extent shall have been confirmed on or before the cutoff date of December 2, 2025. Subsequent subdivisions or ownership changes will receive the benefit proportionately.
• The benefit may also be extended to future villages notified under the Land Pooling Scheme, with the date of the relevant Government Order serving as the cutoff date. The annuity is available only to landowners who surrendered the land and continue to hold the corresponding returnable developed plots; where part of the plot has been alienated, payment will be proportionate to the retained extent. Purchasers or subsequent transferees of LPOCs/returnable plots are not eligible for the annual annuity.
