The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on September 18, 2026, notified regarding the Sunset review investigation concerning imports of “Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) Blends” originating in or exported from China PR.
The following has been stated:
• The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has concluded the sunset review investigation concerning imports of Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) Blends originating in or exported from China PR. The investigation covered R-407 and R-410 blends and examined whether expiry of the existing anti-dumping duty would lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the domestic industry. The Authority found that dumping continued during the period of investigation and that cessation of the existing duty is likely to result in increased dumped imports, price pressure and recurrence of injury to the domestic industry.
• The Authority therefore concluded that continuation of the anti-dumping duty is necessary and recommended continuation of the definitive anti-dumping duty on HFC Blends from China PR. The recommended duty is to continue subject to the specified producer/exporter-wise rates in the duty table, with residual duty applicable to non-cooperating producer-exporters. The recommendation also provides for specified commercial-invoice requirements for availing individual duty rates.
